Toll-free: 1-877-846-1116 The Karger Gallery in Elora Ontario, within the old stone walls of the Elora Mews, is itself a beautiful work of art. After 10 years and two major expansions, the Karger Gallery is a very exciting place to shop for "one-of-a-kind" gifts and decor. Renate Karger, a young entrepreneur who loves original art and the art of creating a beautiful store, features the original works of over 100 Canadian artists. You will love the selection of wonderful glassware, woodwork, wrought iron and pottery, contemporary paintings and designer jewellery. Every work of art is very reasonably priced. Some artists featured by Karger Gallery are Gundi Viviani’s sculptures and vases of recycled glass pieces, Andre Michaud’s wood sculptures of hats and umbrellas on a coat rack (this must be seen to be believed), paintings by contemporary artist Vanya Ryan, iron work by Elora blacksmith David McCord, and original designer jewellery by Honika and Myka. Since Renate enlarged her gallery in the Summer of 2002, she has had the space to add to her furniture collection. You will discover unique pieces of furniture at the Karger Gallery. Rare armoires and heavy screens and doors from Asia, unusual beds and fabrics, dining room sets in heavy teak, and in brushed steel, a very eclectic collection, and always something new and unusual to appeal to many decorating tastes.
